The ACPUA attended the European Forum on Quality Assurance: "Building trust and progress: from information to evidence", open to managers and technical staff of universities, quality agencies, students and all those interested in quality assurance in higher education in the European area.
This Forum had two main objectives: to reflect on how to balance data and other qualitative and quantitative information resources, as well as to properly interpret all this documentation from a perspective of trust and improvement.
For this purpose and during two days, participatory sessions have been held with speakers of organizational and institutional relevance in relation to education, research and transition to the labor market, presenting innovations and impact updates. Among them, we can highlight the results of the 260-item survey administered to nearly 20,000 students, the strategic trends that the European Commission is proposing for higher education or, among others, the social dimension affected by the pandemic that increases inequalities in access.
It has been, undoubtedly, a showcase of initiatives and facts, sponsored by a powerful online platform, on which we have been able to learn resources and tools for improvement on quality assurance of our universities, thus fulfilling its objectives.
