The first study programme implementing the ACPUA Guide of action for virtual visits that was approved by the Commission of Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation (CECA) of the Agency last October has been the degree in Food Science and Technology of the University of Zaragoza.
Different groups of interest of the ACPUA have participated in the preparation of this Guide, among which are the Universities of the Aragon University System,
All the groups that traditionally took part in the evaluation interviews for the study programme accreditation in the face-to-face modality participated in the visit as usual.
A space for participation has also been offered, in accordance with the evaluation protocol, to all those people related to the degree who wish to participate, with an open virtual hearing.
The latest major global health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a series of structural changes at all levels of education. Higher education and, therefore, its academic, research and management activities have continued with training and science due to its commitment, but have had to adapt to the recommendations and standards that have been developed from international, European and national levels to address this health emergency.
Through the ACPUA Guide of action for virtual visits, the Agency provides Aragonese higher education institutions with an action guide for carrying out virtual visits to the degrees and centers of the Aragon University System which, due to the current health emergency situation, cannot be carried out in person.
The visit has been carried out in two days (November 11th and 12th) to guarantee the participation of all the groups and to facilitate the necessary meeting and rest spaces for the members of the panel of experts who have participated in the visit.
