ACPUA attended the webinar organised by the international network INQAAHE entitled "Navigating the future of learning: recognising micro-credentials", highlighting the interest in lifelong learning, underlining the change for higher education institutions to play a leading role as providers of this training, and encouraging agencies to assure its quality.
Speakers from Hong Kong, China, Canada and Spain, moderated by INQAAHE Director Fabrice Hénard, presented the progress made in their countries in this field and afterwards moving on to explain aspects of the debate such as adjustment to the labour market, the relationship between higher education institutions and companies and the balance between the rigour of the programme and learning outcomes, among others.
ACPUA, as a member aligned to INQQAHE's GGPs (Guidelines and Good Practices), pays attention to national and international developments in this area, which aims to improve access to higher education for all.
