The ACPUA attended the conference organised by ECA (European Consortium for Accreditation in University Education) in collaboration with UNIBASQ and the Pontifical University of Salamanca on 24 September.
The conference featured the presentations "Student-centred learning and teaching: Beyond student-centred classrooms" by Professor Sabine Hoidn, Student-Centered Learning Lab (SCL Lab) - University of St. Gallen and "The methodological online-learning framework of the Pontifical University of Salamanca" by Professor Juan Medina Contreras, Director of the Centre for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning of the Pontifical University of Salamanca.
This was followed by a round table discussion entitled "Addressing SCL: perspectives from the stakeholders" in which, in addition to the speakers, Tamara Ciobanu - Executive committee member of ESU, contributed the vision of the student body, Lars Pedersen - Senior Advisor at the Danish Accreditation Institution (AI) and Eva Fernández de Labastida - Internationalisation and projects manager at Unibasq- Chair of ECA as representative of quality assurance agencies. The round table was an interesting tool for discussion with the audience.
