The Higher Polytechnic School held the 3rd EPS-Enterprise Forum on Monday, November 9th. The Forum was presented by the Director of the School, Javier García and by the acting vice-rector of the Huesca campus José Domingo Dueñas, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the excellent relationship between the School and the companies of the sector, as reflected in the reception of this III Forum to which a large group of companies and entities of the sector registered (Agropal, Aragonea, Asaja, Association of Environmental Sciences of Aragon, Engineers Bank, Official College of Agricultural Engineers of Aragon, Navarra and Basque Country, D. O. Somontano, H2O Consultores, KUHN Ibérica, Oviaragón Pastores, SEO Birdlife, UAGA). The forum was also attended by a representation of students, the Green Office of the University of Zaragoza and members of the PDI and PAS of the School.
Isabel Ortega, quality coordinator technician of the Agency acted as moderator of the forum in which Lola Cepero, Deputy Director of Students and Quality presented the Sustainability Plan of the center. The session had a double objective, on the one hand to present the Sustainability Plan and to discuss it with those present, gathering possible suggestions for improvement, and on the other hand, to open the debate to identify possible lines of collaboration to continue advancing together in the commitment of the center to the Agenda 2030.
The session lasted two hours, establishing a fluid and enriching dialogue in which many ideas emerged that will undoubtedly be considered by the EPS to enrich its Sustainability Plan and that will allow to strengthen the channels of collaboration with companies in the sector with a view to the commitment of the center with the Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2030.
