ACPUA has attended the webinar: "Trends and innovations: what's new in the ENQA family?"
This webinar, open exclusively for ENQA members and affiliates, is integrated in the proceedings of the General Assembly of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
During the webinar participants were able to listen and share a variety of learnings on new developments in agencies and their quality systems. Mainly, they focused on thematic analysis and communication and dissemination aspects.
On the first aspect of the thematic analysis presentation, Liia Lauri and Heli Mattisen, Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education (EKKA), described the implications for practice in the evaluation of higher education research and professional development in the European space. In addition, Anthony Dean and Sarah Bennett, EQ-Arts shared their expertise on the identification of needs in the arts sector.
On the second aspect of exposing improvements in communication, Michèle P. Wera, Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) commented on the interest of analyzing the details that ensure that an evaluation report is of quality. And to conclude the seminar, Orlaith O'Loughlin and Marie O'Neill, Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) shared their knowledge on good practices in social networks to ensure transparency of agency activities and ensure their dissemination.
