On August 4th, the director of the ACPUA and member of the ENQA Board Antonio Serrano participated, representing the ENQA Board, in the Third Latin American Forum on the Assurance of the Quality in Higher Education, dedicated to this subject: "Achievements and Challenges in Times of Pandemic". This important event was held in virtual mode and was organized by the Ministry of Education of Colombia in collaboration with the International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (IESALC) of UNESCO.
Specifically, Antonio Serrano took part in the session entitled "High Quality - Challenges in times of Pandemic", together with Alberto Dibbern (Managing Director of SIACES), Alejandro Miranda (President of RIACES), Susanna Karakhayan (President of INQAAHE) and Tan Kay Chuan (Chief Advisor of AUN-QA). He explained the actions undertaken by ENQA (recommendations to member agencies, surveys, webinars, analysis, etc.) both to face the immediate consequences of the pandemic and to glimpse its impact on the teaching models and methodologies deployed within the European Higher Education Area.
