On December 14th, the Minister of Higher Education, Manuel Castells, and the Secretary General of Universities, José Manuel Pingarrón, met by videoconference with the directors of the agencies that make up the Spanish Network of University Quality Agencies (REACU) to exchange views on the resolution being prepared by the General Secretariat of Universities on the establishment of recommendations on the criteria and standards of evaluation for the initial accreditation, modification, follow up and accreditation of official university degrees offered in the modalities of non-attendance and hybrid education. The meeting took place in a productive atmosphere of cordiality and cooperation. This is the second time that the Minister meets directly with Spanish quality agencies.
